Menstruation plays an important role in the physical, mental and social wellbeing of girls and young women, and yet it is largely absent from conversations about health and human rights.

In this webinar, Dr Julie Hennegan from Burnet Institute will provide an overview of the menstrual health challenges facing adolescents in Australia and around the world. Julie’s presentation will highlight growing research about menstruation and young people, and explore the tensions in developing and delivering evidence-based support.
