Hi! My name is Lara Nguyen (Bich-Loan) and I am currently a year 11 student in South Australia. I have a deep passion for social justice and the well-being of others, which has inspired me to pursue a career in the healthcare field! Having seen various family members enter the healthcare system, I have always been driven to understand both the strengths and weaknesses of healthcare, and how I could consider this when supporting others.

I joined the WH&Y Commission as I saw that it was an opportunity to help those in need. In addition to contributing professionally, the WH&Y Commission allowed me to listen to various perspectives regarding pressing healthcare matters. In doing so, I have been able to empathise with a wider audience, aiding in the implementation of projects that can make a lasting impact!
