Doctor Sally Gibson

About

Dr Sally Gibson has more than 25 years’ experience in service provision, policy development, education and research. In her role as NSW Health Senior Manager for Youth Health and Wellbeing (2013 – 2020) she led the implementation of the policy response to youth health and wellbeing across New South Wales. She holds a Masters Degree in Policy and Administration from Flinders University and a PhD from the University of Adelaide for which she was awarded a research medal for her doctoral research on sexual health and young people. Sally is currently the Senior Adviser for Mental Health and Wellbeing in the South Australian Department for Education. 

A common focus of her work has been on building workforce capacity to engage with and address the needs of marginalised and vulnerable young people.
