Elham Zolfaghari

About

Elham is a Registered Psychologist and currently works as a Research Officer with the Academic Department of Adolescent Medicine, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. She is a PhD candidate in Family Studies at the University of Newcastle, focusing on the physiological and neurological markers of father-child synchrony. Elham’s research background includes areas of Drug and Alcohol, Transcultural Mental Health, Implementation Science and use of innovative technology in Adolescent Health. Elham has extensive clinical and mentorship experience having worked in senior clinical positions in a variety of public mental health settings, including: Acute Crisis Mental Health, Family Therapy, Transcultural Mental Health, and Child and Youth Mental Health (specifically Children of Parent’s with a Mental Illness – COPMI).
