Deborah Manandi has been a WH&Y Commissioner since 2019. She recently completed her Honours degree and is currently undertaking a PhD with scholarship funded by an NHMRC Synergy Grant entitled Solving the long-standing evidence-practice gap associated with cardiac rehabilitation and secondary prevention of coronary heart disease (SOLVE-CHD) at the University of Sydney.
Deborah has keen interest in reducing socioeconomic disparity in accessing healthcare. She hopes to continue working alongside WH&Y in building a more equitable, accessible and responsive healthcare to young people.
