Dr Sally Gibson

About

Dr Sally Gibson is the Manager for Youth Health and Wellbeing in NSW Health and leads the implementation of the policy response to youth health and wellbeing in New South Wales. She holds a Masters Degree in Policy and Administration from Flinders University and a PhD from the University of Adelaide for which she was awarded a research medal for her doctoral research on sexual health and young people.

Sally has more than 25 years’ experience in service provision, policy development, education and research. She has worked at senior levels in non-government organisations as well as for State and Commonwealth Governments in Australia and the Pacific. 

A common focus of her work has been on building workforce capacity to engage with and address the needs of marginalised and vulnerable young people.
