WH&Y Commissioner

Keshini Vijayan

About

Hi! I'm Keshini and I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Science at the University of Sydney, majoring in Immunology, Molecular Biology and Genetics.

As an aspiring oncologist, I have a strong desire to serve my community while promoting the importance of healthy living for all Australians, including adolescents who are often underrepresented in scientific literature.

I believe the WH&Y Commission is a great initiative that encourages young leaders to raise awareness and advocate for the wellbeing of young people, particularly when it comes to mental health. Together with the other talented commissioners, I hope to contribute to adolescent health research, inform health policies, and collaborate with other sectors in developing relevant health services for adolescents.
