Hi, my name is Emily I am currently a university student studying clinical science. From a young age, I have always had a keen interest in the health and well-being of others, and as I have progressed in my educational studies, my love for integrative and multifaceted medicine has grown. By being involved in WH&Y it has allowed me to collaborate both my scientific knowledge and personal experience into making an active change in adolescent medicine and people’s lives. I believe adolescent medicine is in high demand in the healthcare system and by being involved in WH&Y I believe we can help overcome many of the difficulties and barriers faced by teenagers and young adults around their health.
