Faeza obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.Ch.B) from the Faculty of Medicine in Benghazi, Libya in 2001. She has worked at Benghazi Hospital as a post burn reconstruction and plastic surgeon.

Faeza started her Master of Philosophy in Medicine in 2017 at the Children's Hospital at Westmead and Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of Sydney. She is now completing her PhD on the knowledge, attitudes and perceptions of the Arab community in Australia toward Human Papillomavirus (HPV) Vaccination Program.
